We applied a dry separation using a gas-solid fluidized bed to separate valuable minerals and waste gangue in run-of-mine lump iron ore. We also designed and developed a dry continuous separator using a gas-solid fluidized bed for upgrading lump ore. Floating and sinking ore in the fluidized bed are continuously recovered by the separator.
